I woke up late today, so I had a late breakfast/early lunch.
Dinner
- Slow cooker roast chicken (nomnoms recipe)
- Cauliflower and turnip mash with roasted garlic and ghee
- Oven roasted asparagus
- Leftover baby kale salad
I was in a total cooking mood today, hence our very fancy dinner. I made turnip and cauliflower mash for the first time, and I thought it was pretty good. But Ruben swears it had a funny taste.
And I made nomnoms slow cooker chicken recipe, its very yummy! I was able to fit 2 chickens in my slow cooker and I cooked them on low for about 5 hours. It came out perfect.
I also made roasted garlic for the first time today. AMAZING! It was smooth like butter. As soon as we finish the Whole30 I want to bake paleo bread so I can spread the roasted garlic onto it.
